Dwyane Wade

Dwyane Wade is a three-time NBA Champion, Olympic Gold medalist, and thirteen-time NBA All-Star. In 2023, Dwyane was inducted into the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame, becoming the first player from Marquette and the first player drafted by the Miami Heat to do so. He was also named to the NBA 75th Anniversary team, representing the 75 greatest players in NBA history. Dwyane became a New York Times bestselling author with the release of his first book, A Father First: How My Life Became Bigger than Basketball. Dwyane continues to build his brand off the court with business partnerships including Away, PKWY, Li-Ning, Gatorade, MISSION, BallerTV, Spades Royale, Wade Cellars, 800° Woodfired Kitchen, and The COLLECTION. He is part of the ownership group of the WNBA’s Chicago Sky and the NBA's Utah Jazz. He and his wife, actress Gabrielle Union, also co-founded Proudly, the first baby care line created with the skin care needs of melanated babies top of mind. Dwyane serves as host of The Why Podcast where he sits down with pioneers in sports, fashion, music, and business for an intimate conversation about their origins and the reasons they keep pushing to innovate. Alongside Chris Paul and Carmelo Anthony, he launched Social Change Fund United (SCFU) with a strategic focus on narrowing the racial wealth gap by supporting entrepreneurship, leadership, and innovation in Black and Brown communities. Dwyane received a Humanitarian Award at the BET Awards for his commitment to excellence and dedication to community and worldly charitable causes.
