Flo Rida
Bio
Tramar Dillard, known professionally as Flo Rida, is a world-renowned rapper and entrepreneur who rose from a challenging upbringing in Miami’s Carol City to become a dominant force in global pop-rap and EDM. Raised in a musical household, he was encouraged by his father and gospel-singing sisters to use music as a positive outlet. His early career involved performing with the group GroundHoggz and serving as a hype man for 2 Live Crew’s Fresh Kid Ice, followed by a formative but difficult period in Los Angeles working with DeVante Swing. After returning to Miami and signing with Atlantic Records through Poe Boy Entertainment, he achieved a massive breakthrough in 2008 with his debut album, Mail on Sunday, and the record-breaking chart-topper "Low." With over 80 million records sold worldwide, Flo Rida’s career is defined by a string of massive global hits including "Right Round," "Good Feeling," and "Whistle." Beyond his vocal success, he has proven to be a savvy businessman, founding the management company Strong Arm and serving as the CEO of his own record label, International Music Group (IMG). His professional achievements are matched by a deep commitment to philanthropy; he established the "Big Dreams for Kids" foundation to support youth sports and education, effectively giving back to the community that shaped his journey.
